Politique de Confidentialité
Comment nous collectons, utilisons et protégeons vos données personnelles selon le RGPD et la loi portugaise.
This Privacy Policy explains how EasyJobs Relocation collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use this website (easyjobsrelocation.com) and our services. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – "GDPR") and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019 of 8 August.
1. Who is responsible for your data (Controller)
EasyJobs Relocation is a service provided by EasyLisbonRelocation Ltd, which acts as the controller of your personal data. For any privacy matter you can contact us at info@easyjobsrelocation.com.
2. What personal data we collect
- Identification and contact data: name, date of birth, nationality, email, phone, address and similar.
- Account data: login credentials and activity within your account.
- Immigration and process data: passport and identity documents, visa-related documents, qualifications, employment history, CV and supporting documents you upload (DocuBox).
- Application data: vacancies you apply to, matching results and related correspondence.
- Payment data: amount, status and history of payments. Card details are handled directly by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
Some documents may contain special categories of data or sensitive information (for example, data that may appear in identity or immigration documents). We process such data only where strictly necessary to provide the service and to comply with legal obligations, and with appropriate safeguards.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To provide our services and perform our contract with you — visa guidance, DocuBox document review, candidate–vacancy matching, recruitment and business-setup support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, including accounting, tax and anti-fraud duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- With your consent, for example for non-essential cookies or optional communications, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- For our legitimate interests, such as securing the platform, preventing abuse and improving our services, balanced against your rights (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Where sensitive data is involved, on the additional legal bases of Art. 9 GDPR (such as your explicit consent or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims), as applicable.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service, with:
- Employers and educational institutions, where you apply to a vacancy or programme.
- Competent public authorities, such as consulates and AIMA (Agência para a Integração, Migrações e Asilo), where required for your process or by law.
- Service providers (processors) acting on our instructions — for example payment providers (such as Stripe), email/hosting providers and tools that assist our document review. Where automated review tools are used, they act on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
- Authorities, courts or regulators where disclosure is required by law.
Our processors are bound by contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we define.
5. International data transfers
Our infrastructure and databases are hosted within the European Union / European Economic Area. Where a transfer of personal data outside the EEA is unavoidable, it only takes place with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
- A candidate registration may be kept for up to six months; if no payment is made within that period the registration is archived and you are notified by email.
- Data necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g. invoicing and accounting) is kept for the periods required by Portuguese law.
- Once data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), where applicable.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Data portability, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise your rights, contact info@easyjobsrelocation.com. We may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados) — www.cnpd.pt.
8. Automated processing and matching
We may use automated tools to support candidate–vacancy matching and to check documents (for example, their legibility or expiry). These tools are an aid to our team and do not, by themselves, produce legal effects or significant decisions about you without human involvement. Decisions on visas, residence permits and admissions are always taken by the competent authorities.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of any breach where required by law.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the website and, with your consent, non-essential cookies for analytics and improvement. You can manage your preferences at any time. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. Where a minor is included in a family process, their data is provided and authorised by the responsible adult.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page and applies from the date it is published. Material changes may be notified by email or on the website. Last updated: June 2026.
